Activated Apple Cider Vinegar – We use a proprietary process to create what we call Activated Apple Cider Vinegar.  Apple cider vinegar, otherwise known as cider vinegar or ACV, is a type of vinegar made from cider and has a pale to medium amber color. Our unpasteurized and organic ACV contains mother of vinegar, which has a cobweb-like appearance and can makes the vinegar look cloudy.  Apple cider vinegar contains valuable minerals such as phosphorus, calcium, sodium, potassium, iron, magnesium, and chlorine. It also contains sulfur, copper, silicon, fluorine, beta-carotene, pectin and malic acid.  These trace minerals are essential to nourish the body and restore minerals to organs.  ACV although considered acidic, actually raises the pH of the body and increases the level of digestion and absorption of minerals to the body.  When minerals are delivered to a balanced body, the body has an inherent ability to deliver calcium to bones, organs and tissue and balances blood/sugar levels.  Whereas when minerals are delivered in an unbalanced pH body, the body cannot absorb the minerals and use them for the proper health of the body and organs such as the kidneys, bladder, liver, gallbladder and thyroid.

Blueberry - Blueberries are considered alterative, anti-emetic, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antiseptic, antiviral, astringent, diuretic, kidney cleansing, and urinary antiseptic.  They help prevent bacteria from adhering to the bladder wall, and are used to prevent and treat urinary tract infections. 

Calcium - Calcium is the most abundant mineral in the human body.  Approximately 99 percent of calcium is present in the bones and teeth, which leaves only about one percent in cells and body fluids. Although only a small amount of calcium is in the blood, the body goes to great lengths to maintain blood-calcium levels within a relatively narrow range. If levels drop too low, intestinal calcium absorption can increase, calcium can be released from bones, and the kidneys reduce calcium excretion and retention within the kidneys inversely increases.   It is important to note, that a high intake of dietary calcium  decreases the risk for symptomatic kidney stones, whereas the intake of supplemental calcium increases the risk of kidney stones.  This is why Kidney Complete is in a dietary form, a liquid.

Citrus Bioflavonoids - Clinically, citrus bioflavonoids have outstanding healing properties in muscles and organs  eliminating infection and inflammation, increasing cellular absorption, and augmenting blood circulation, all important aspects in restoring balance and health.

Cranberry – This natural and tasty fruit has long been used for its medicinal properties.  Cranberries are a source of polyphenol antioxidants, under active research for possible benefits to the cardiovascular system and immune system, and as anti-cancer agents. There is potential benefit of cranberry juice consumption against bacterial infections in the urinary system. Research shows that an effect occurs from a component of the juice inhibiting bacterial attachment to the bladder and urethra.  It has also been observed to have a relaxing effect, reducing stress.

Hibiscus - This herb is consumed in many parts of the world as a tea.  It has been clinically proven to reduce urinary tract infections and inflammation by as much as 75% as a single source ingredient.

Honey – This is a vital product for good health.  It contains essential trace vitamins and minerals.  As explained, these are important to a balanced body and increased cellular absorption.  It also has anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal, anti-microbial, and anti-tumor properties.

Lysine – Lysine is an essential amino acid. That means it is necessary for human health but the body can't manufacture it.  Amino acids like lysine are the building blocks of protein. Lysine is important for proper growth, and it plays an essential role in the production of carnitine, a nutrient responsible for converting fatty acids into energy and helping to lower cholesterol. More importantly, lysine helps the body absorb calcium while decreasing  the amount of calcium that is lost in urine that subsequently initiates the formation of kidney stones.

Magnesium - The University of California at San Francisco suggests that magnesium citrates and malates inhibit the development of calcium  stones by raising the alkalinity of the body, calcium stones being the most common of all kidney stones.  Magnesium also acts as a relaxer on the body allowing pain to be eliminated or reduced.

Organic Flavorings – We use organic flavorings to reduce the acidic taste while enhancing the natural fruit taste.  In Kidney Complete, the organic flavors we use are cranberry and pomegranate.

Natural Juices –Juices are excellent in increasing the pH level of the body and increase the alkaline state of the body. Fruit juices are also an excellent source of citric acid which assist in dissolving the minerals that bind kidney stones together.  In Kidney Complete we use cranberry, blueberry, raspberry, pomegranate, and lemon juices.

Potassium - Potassium citrate is rapidly absorbed when given by mouth and is excreted in the urine as as carbonate. It is, therefore, effective in reducing the pain and frequency of urination when caused by highly acidic urine.   A study of 500 patients with recurrent stones found that it reduced the frequency of stones from 2 per year to a half per year.  It make the urine more alkaline and neutralizes the acid in the urine which will reduce crystal formation.  The study by J He Feng, published in the September 2001 issue of the "British Medical Journal", noted that potassium citrate reduces calcium excretion, creating a healthy calcium balance.  When a calcium balance exists, the kidneys do not retain minerals.  The study concluded that potassium reduces the frequency of kidney stones.

The B Vitamins - B vitamins are found in whole unprocessed foods. The B vitamins are a group of water-soluble vitamins that play important roles in cell metabolism and absorption.

Vitamin C - This is one of the most essential vitamins for good health.  It is also a cofactor in at least eight enzymatic reactions within the body.  This vitamin is critical to reducing infection, bacteria, virus and in helping with the healing process.  It is also one of the key components in breaking apart and dissolving kidney stones.

Vitamin E - Vitamin E is one of the most beneficial vitamins for you.  As a supplement, Vitamin E has a number of health benefits. Vitamin E is particularly important for the protection of our cell membranes as well as keeping your skin, heart and circulation, nerves, muscles and red blood cells healthy, a key role of the kidneys.  It also may protect you against the development of cancers by enhancing immune function and as a potent antioxidant. Evidence links higher intake of vitamin E with a decreased incidence of prostate and breast cancer.

Zinc - Zinc is involved in numerous aspects of cellular metabolism. It is required for the catalytic activity of approximately 100 enzymes and it plays a role in immune function, protein synthesis, wound healing, DNA synthesis, and cell division.  A daily intake of zinc is required to maintain a steady state because the body has no specialized zinc storage system.
